Every swimmer learns differently, especially in a group setting. I work hard to make sure students feel safe, supported, and included while still helping each swimmer grow at their own pace.
Some students are confident right away, while others may need extra encouragement and time in the water. My teaching style focuses on patience, ocean safety, confidence-building, and creating a calm learning environment where swimmers can steadily improve their skills.
With over 10 years of ocean swim instruction experience in Hawaii, I’ve worked with swimmers of many different ages, personalities, and comfort levels in the water.
